Catalyst Cloud has released a new Metrics Service. The service provides our customers with access to metrics for their cloud resources. Visibility of the CPU, memory, network and object storage usage are all available via an API. This makes it easier to monitor the health and usage of assets in Catalyst Cloud.

The metrics are also consumed by the Alarm service and which can then be used to alert of potential issues or to scale resources to meet demand. It is now easier to ensure that workloads on Catalyst Cloud are available and are provisioned to meet the needs of your application.

Catalyst Cloud customer documentation has been updated to include a comprehensive guide to querying the Metrics Service, including examples that cover common use cases.
