Register here for Look to New Zealand – the State of Aotearoa’s Cloud in 2024! Join us for lunch, learning and discussion on the state of public and private cloud in NZ.

The last few years have brought a lot of change to our country, our lives and our cloud. What challenges do New Zealand companies face and how does that differ to other nations around the world? More importantly, where can we see great steps being taken by the IT industry and users? What innovation or practices are we championing here which others around the world might want to follow? Why should people look to New Zealand for leadership when it comes to public cloud?

These are the questions we’ll be examining through presentations from Dragonfly Data Science, a team of data scientists and dreamers working to bring AI powered apps and services to New Zealand, Catalyst IT, New Zealand’s leading OpenSource software specialists, and Catalyst Cloud, New Zealand’s largest and oldest public cloud provider.

Our speakers:

  • Don Christie - Catalyst IT MD, who will speak about the market, the disruptive technologies and ideas which are coming and the unique pressures New Zealand companies face
  • Paul Seiler - Catalyst Cloud GM, speaking on being a public cloud provider in New Zealand, what we focus on and how we are resolving the challenges of our customers
  • Finlay Thompson & Henry Macdonald - Dragonfly Data Science, speaking on their work in the AI and statistical analytics space, alongside how they built their public cloud architecture
