Catalyst Cloud is helping drive research innovation forward by providing research grants to faculty, staff, researchers and students at accredited New Zealand research institutions.

Our research grants may be used for any service on Catalyst Cloud, and are valued at:

• Up to $5,000 for post-graduate students
• Uncapped for faculty and staff

This discount programme is subject to the standard Catalyst Cloud Terms and Conditions and the following special terms:

1. Applicants must be full-time faculty, staff, researchers or post-graduate students at an accredited New Zealand research institution (for example a university, Crown Research Institution or polytechnic)
2. Applications are per-project
3. Projects must have specific time-frames and goals which can be shared with Catalyst Cloud
4. Research grants will not cover:
   1. Ongoing or continual research projects
   2. General lab work
   3. Administrative, operational or commercial workloads

The total grant value must be used over a maximum of 12 months.
