The service supports the highly popular cloud-based database engines, PostgreSQL and MySQL, with support for further database engines to come in the future. The Catalyst Cloud team have extensive experience in both engines and have wrapped that expertise in an easy to access and run service.

It’s now even easier to customise, back-up and restore with this release including user-friendly enhancements to the web dashboard, and simple API calls. Database replicas can be created to scale out, increasing resiliency and availability. And with Catalyst Cloud’s pay as you go pricing, you only pay for what you use.

Save weeks – self-provision in under a minute

Where it can take weeks to self-provision a relational database, with Catalyst Cloud’s Managed Database Service, IT administrators can choose a database version, the compute instance size and get everything up and running in less than a minute.
